I made a team in Teambuilder called the Tennessee All-Time Vols. My Gamertag is FearSmokey (XBOX Live, that is. I'm not on PSN) if you want to download it. The starters are as follows:
QB: Peyton Manning (of course)
RB: Travis Henry (our all-time leading rusher)
FB: Shawn Bryson (best we've ever had at FB IMO)
X WR: Joey Kent
Y WR: Peerless Price
TE: Jason Witten
LT: Chad Clifton
LG: Antone Davis
C: Scott Wells
RG: Chip Kell
RT: Bruce Wilkerson
LE: Doug Atkins
DT: John Henderson
DT: Albert Haynesworth
RE: Reggie White
LOLB: Leonard Little
MLB: Al Wilson
ROLB: Jerod Mayo
RCB: Dale Carter
LCB: Terry Fair
FS: Deon Grant
SS: Eric Berry
K: Jeff Hall
P: Dustin Colquitt
Your thoughts? Anyone I might've missed?

"What did he do? All he did was score!" - John Ward
Don't get me wrong, I love Travis Henry, but I have a preference of Chuck Webb, Reggie Cobb, or Jamal Lewis over him. I just liked them so much. Pretty good list though!
Chuck Webb is the #2 with Jamal Lewis and Jay Graham behind him. Arian Foster is the 5th back. I decided to put Foster on instead of Cobb just because Foster is, after all, our second leading rusher. And, despite the crap he used to get, I loved Arian. He's still one of my favorite UT players ever. He's ballin out in the NFL too. It was really great to see him back n Knoxville for the O&W game
No kidding. I loved Arian too. So other than Cobb being out I have no problems with your list! haha Nice job!
Won't get the game til this coming weekend. Ill pm you then so you can tell me how to download it. Nothing wrong w that squad as far as I can see! Well done!
Ok cool. Thanks!
I have never seen any UT WR absolutely dominate defenders like Carl Pickens did. Hard to believe that he was an all SEC safety his freshman year and then switched to WR. Went pro after his Junior year and was named NFL offensive rookie of the year. Put up 17 TDs two years after that.
The guy was a horse. I'd take him over either of your starting WR's.
Certainly a case for Stanley Morgan as well.
I loved watching Price and Kent play though.

Atkins over Little?......I'm just asking, Atkins was before my time.
Oh.....I see you have him at OLB.........he was much more disruptive at end.
I might take Darwin Walker in Albert's spot. Otherwise there's not much room to argue your defense......
I would have Carl in front of both of those WRs too. Carl is one of the main reasons that I became a Vols fan.
My kicker would be Fuad Reviez and like others have said Pickens - over Price (Pickens may be the most talented player to ever wear the orange) and Webb (Electric) over Henry.
Good list all around and good topic though i'm not a gamer. +1
IT TAKES NO TALENT TO HUSTLE
As awesome as Little was, Doug Atkins was arguably the most dominant player of his era. Johnny Unitas and Dick Butkus said that Doug was the only man they were ever afraid of.
I'd take Carl Pickens over Price
I'll agree with the Pickens fans. He was one helluva WR, probably the most talented to ever wear orange. I would also go for Willie Gault because Peyton would hit him in stride behind the cornerback every time. Gault was an Olympic sprinter and never have we had such a speed merchant at WR.
Kent and Price were both excellent college players, but frankly, Peyton made them look better than they really were, as proven by their later NFL careers.
I also agree with Fuad Reveiz over Hall. And stick with Doug Atkins. He was a dominant player in college and the NFL.
Thanks for the info......
Great call on Gault. He was my go to guy on Super TechmoBowl. Can you imagine having him and Pickens on the field at the same time?
Great list +1
No love for Tim McGee? Imagine how many more catches/yards/TDs he would've had in 85 had TRobinson not blown out his knee (eff u biscuit) against UA. Also, lots of DBs are interchangeable in my opinion, Roland James leaps to mind instantly
Just watched the sugar vols DVD a couple days ago! Love me some Tim McGee!
Still have nightmares of Jamal Lewis. Travis Henry is a nice back but nowhere near Jamal's level. Then again, Henry's doing a great job for potential UT recruits down the road.
