This is not the kind of player that will help us win football games, IMO.
Seems to me like a wasted scholarship along the lines of Crump and Propst. Hopefully Cothren will also be an effective special teams player because that seems like the best case scenario. Typially, you wouldn't want to burn a scholarship on a guy who will spend his college career on special teams. Instead, you fill out special teams with walk-ons or players who either are or will eventually compete for a starting position. I don't see Cothren as a guy who will compete for a starting position at Tennessee. JMO

We won 5 games in 3 years in the SEC, and all I heard about was how we should trust the staff's evaluations. I don't trust anything right now, until shown otherwise. I have FULL faith that Jones and Co. will be better coaches, but until they show me that they can coach and evaluate for the SEC, I'm not going in blind this time.
