This will be my 6th season as a ticket holder, I have sat in section M row 22. I was asked if I wanted to move to row 4. I declined because its to close, what do yall prefer?
Good call, in my opinion. Sometimes it's fun for me to sit close to the field at sporting events, but it doesn't often give you a great view.
Here's an example of why think it's best to sit higher: When all of us media are covering scrimmages at Neyland and are free to sit anywhere we want on one side of the stadium, most of us go at least 10 or 15 rows up into the stands. I think anything fewer than 10 rows up isn't quite high enough to give you a decent view of the entire field.

I know a lot of people don't like the upper deck but I have sat in HH, row 12 for about 20 years and I love it. You see the plays develop, holes open up, receivers come open, etc. The drawback is putting up with the visiting teams fans but again I love where I sit and have made some great friends of the people who sit around us. Good call on your part to stay higher up in the section by the way!

I'm in QQ section and would not trade for anything...well maybe a sky box...lol! Seating really is to one's prreference, awell as one can control it.

I always thought I would LOVE to sit in the boxes....Dooley's first year here, we actually won the season game that gave us skybox tickets, sideline passes, and other stuff for the Kentucky game (the wheel of fortune text game on the jumbo tron). It was great and all - free food, inside warmth during a colder Kentucky game....but I really missed the atmosphere outside. In those boxes, it seemed "removed" to me - compared to my other seats...
Had my seats in YY8 row 3 for years and moved to PP row 22 this year since they are cheaper and better for my wallet. LOVED my YY8 seats though. Team run out right under you. Square in front of the jumbotron. We'll see how these are...
