has applied to ba a GA at UT per Jimmy Hyams.
@JimmyHyams: Darin Hinshaw told me he has not been hired at Kentucky, as of 2:40. Nick Reveiz has applied to be GA at UT, Washington wants him as GA
Good luck nick
Great news, great role model!
Great to see Nick wanting to get involved with UTs return to prominence!!
Washington.... He must of left a heck of an impression on Sirmon.... That's great....
What is the process of being brought on as a GA? I assume CBJ will have to approve it, but he should be an easy approval.

I agree. The more Vols involved in coaching, the better.
Thank you for the quick response. I hope he gets the position. Having Nick back around the program can only be a good thing IMO.
I think they should keep Staley around for another year
hope Nick is on the staff. good luck to him either way!
That would be awesome! He was a great leader and I'd love to see him back at UT.
Are you saying the more Vols involved in coaching at Tennessee the better, or just in general? If it's the former, why would having more Vols coach at UT be better?
Hope I don't get downvoted for saying this b/c its JMO, but I, for the life of me, don't understand why so many people want former vols on the staff. I get it, they played here and there's great respect for guys coming back home. But, as I said in another post, being a former Vol football player doesn't = being a good coach or a good fit at Tennessee now. Chuck Smith, anyone?
Don't get me wrong, if a former Vol can coach, great bring him in. But I dont think we gain anything substantial by having a ton of former Vols on the staff. Playing at Tennessee is not a pre-requisite to loving the University and embracing the traditions.
I don't think it's the fact that they played here, it's the passion that these guys exhibited on the field while they were here.
