From the AJC today. An account of Nick Saban visiting Vonn Bell and Rueben Foster and the reaction he generated at the high schools.
You wouldve thought it was Justin Bieber making an appearance at Georgia high schools this past week.
Thank goodness for the timing of Bell's visit to UT. Make it happen Butch!
That was depressing
I decided not to post it for that very reason.
Someone please BUTCH SLAP this man!!!!
There is nothing wrong with change, if it is in the right direction. - Winston Churchill
I refused to read the article just because they mentioned Saban and Justin Bieber in the same sentence.
Oh my gosh I am sick at my stomache.
BUTCH IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. GO VOLS!
Won't be easy, but I believe that CBJ & staff are chomping @ the bit to go after Saban on the trail. Gonna loose alot of the head-on-head battles near term, but Jones is ready, willing & able to engage in the long-term fight. Given some of the reported recruiting revelations about Dooley & Co., it's no wonder TN's so far behind the eight-ball. But that's a distant memory now... I say pull out the damn meat cleaver Butcher and start hacking away @ Bama. Gotta start @ some point and don't be afraid of the fight!
I agree 1 zillion percent...
I agree 1000%! If you don't get in the fight you're sure to lose. Time to at least make 'em know we're here.

I believe that this is why Vonn Bell could potentially be a HUGE recruit for us. Taking him away from not only Alabama/Saban but also Ohio State/Meyer would but CBJ on the map in the recruiting world plus Bell will announce on signing day while all the cameras are on.
I agree with you 100%. The main difference between this staff and the last is that this staff isn't backing off the top recruits when schools like Alabama and Georgia go after them. Some of that may be attributable to lack of success on the field but this staff seems to know what kind of player it takes to win and how to leverage UT's strengths in recruiting. I don't expect to win many of these battles this year, but if we can have success on the field then we should see more success in the years to come.
