But I bet Silas Redd is really regretting his decision to transfer to USC. He called the transfer a "business decision" and talked about wanting to go there to win a championship. Instead, he rushed for almost 350 yards less than his sophomore season and saw his former team go 8-4 while the Trojans went 7-6. Chances are he would have been a lot more productive at Penn State and would have been a fan favorite for staying. I guess that's what you get for going to play for a snake!
Well.. he did get to live in LA for free.
I can see both sides of this... stay and be a fan favorite or go to a preseason #1 and get your draft grade up. I can see why he would leave the dumpster fire of a mess at Penn State. If it was me there is no way I could stay there after all that happened and was covered up. I see why he thought USC would be a really good move on paper. If you think back to before the season started, there was a lot of hype surrounding USC... the fact is they should have never been as bad as they were. Lane probably had the worst record with the best team in the last 10 years.
I do hate it for all the students involved at State, just a horrible thing to have to go thru and have to choose to stay or go. There is really no right or wrong thing to do.
