Now I get it. Dooley wears the pants to hide the orange hot glow under his seat. After this game, I'm not even sure the pants will hide the glow!!!
Bray throws incomplete on a slant to Hunter on second-and-goal.

Bray throws incomplete to Pig Howard on third-and-goal. Brodus on for another field goal.
Why not run the wildcat there on 2nd and 3rd? Don't get the play calls there.
Brodus' 22-yard field goal is good. Tied at 23 with 1:03 left in the half.
JIM CHANEY IS THE OC.
And he loves to pass.
If Bray had made the throw, that was an easy TD. Announcers said he got stepped on by an lineman to throw off pass
"Old School"! A strong defense wins championships!
Our defense is offensive.
Akron takes a knee. Looks like the Zips may be content to take it to halftime tied at 23.
After the way we played in the first half tonight, I see four consecutive losses in our future ( @UGA, @MSST, Bama, @South Carolina). Remember folks this is an Akron team that went 1-11 last year. 1-11!!! Still think Dooley is the guy to save the program?
I see what you did there...Plus 1.
"Count it down with me. Five, four, three, two, one.
The national champion is clad in Big Orange!"
Didn't mean to down vote sorry.
How's Akron +37 looking now?
Gut check time Coach Dooley... You better light into those corners and see about finding a way to insert Bonner or Grey in at db.
Halftime: UT 23, Akron 23.
Vols have 368 yards of total offense to Akron's 193 but still tied after two quarters.
UT's performance tonight won't hinder or aid UGA's offense or defense next week or any other team they play later. Just ask members of the 1997 Arkansas and Northwestern teams. That being said, a bad performance probably won't be a confidence builder for anybody- players, coaches, admin, fans, or recruits.
I took Akron and the points in the pick em.
I think we would be reasonably happy at 23-0 or 23-7, though we should have punched it in more. Defense is the real problem tonight.
I understand that. But if Tennessee plays this poorly on the road against UGA, they will lose enormously.
If I were inclined to bet on Tennessee football, I would be broke after the last 4 seasons!
Smart man. I thought the line was more like 27.5 but I'm looking too optimistic at this point.
