Thank god for Byron Moore.
Nice run by Neal.
Big run by Rajion Neal, but there's a flag on the play. Offsides on Akron is the call.
Personal foul on Akron after the play, too. Tack on 15 yards after a 29-yard run by Neal.
He's played we'll tonight.
Okay, WHY ARE THEY GIVING THE WRs SO MUCH SPACE ? Especially when there is safety help??
I really can't believe how much slack yall are giving this coaching staff. We look horrible I understand looking ahead and all that but this is a lot more than overlooking an opponent. I have about 10 down votes for no reason I'm just posting comments. I love tn but this is a joke. This is year 3 and if your honest we don't look much better than year 1 and that's the truth. Not trying to be a hater that's just how I see it. Our talent isn't that much better we are slow in the secondary still.
Another drop by Zach Rogers on another well-thrown ball on third-and-7.
Perhaps I spoke too soon on Rogers ...
Zach's got his old hands back.
Vols go for it on fourth down, and Bray's pass to Justin Hunter — thrown into double coverage — is incomplete. Akron takes over at its own 36 with 10:39 left in the third.
Officially worried now. Adjustments weren't made on the defensive side of the ball.
You know, I'm 46 years old and WAY over weight but I could tell where Bray was going with that 4th down pass and probably could have intercepted it.
Byron Moore's two interceptions tonight mark the first time a UT player has had multiple interceptions in a game since Eric Berry did it against Arkansas in 2007.
"Featherstone!" Obscure reference, I know, but our receivers tonight make me think of this.
Is Patterson hurt? I have not seen him in a while.
Akron goes three-and-out after the Vols' turnover on downs.
Paul's punt handled by Devrin Young at the 16, and he returns it to UT's 34.
