This guy is incompetent. There is literally no excuse for the end of that half. Progress doesn't fix stupid.
Also, the next time Wes tells us how talented the offense is and how they aren't the problem just point to this game. Tyler and the first roundettes have been straight up HANDLED by good SEC defenses. Good offensive line, two NFL wideouts, NFL Qb, and we can't sustain drives against anyone with a pulse. Defense is playing harder than they have all year and the offense just can't do anything outside of one four yard pass against a blitz.
He was going down as he was attempting to catch it. He would have been down at roughly the 20 with only 11 seconds left due to poor management. But I got your point, Hunter HAS to make that catch
If there is a failure by CDD or anyone else on the offensive coaching staff, it's whoever is coaching up Hunter to catch. He catches the very aggressive, long bomb that hits him right in the freakin' hands, and no one's talking about agressiveness.
Justin Hunter is the leader in the clubhouse for goat of the game. Can McShay help us out and take JH off his list as #1 receiver in the draft? I think JH is dropping all these because he is distracted counting his NFL millions.
"Bravely taking to his feet, he beat a very brave retreat." Sir Robin's Minstrels.
I hope hunter is keeping his gades up. Everybody knows he has the talent....he just needs another year. He has not had a big game against a good team.
OK, likely a FG, not TD, but you never know, and field goal beats failure by a wide margin.
"Old School"! A strong defense wins championships!
Zach's also been making big catches this year for TD's -- at least in NC St's case, a long bomb.
Justin Hunter has been very confusing. I know he has talent, and I understand the issues of coming off an ACL'S injury, but he's seems to be headed to that Mike Wallace level when he first entered league. A one trick pony, a fly route specialist. He seems to have issues catching the tough passes, and lord forbid he goes across the middle. That height and speed, is dangerous but even as a freshman he was a TD waiting to happen, not that is gone he doesn't seem to know how to contribute. But that could be taught. Paging Charlie Baggett
Don't agree with this at all. We have a top 25 offense and barely in the top 100 with our D.
