guys we can chalk this 1 up...cant anything go our way?
I've pretty much given up hope on guard play
It really might help if we hit a wide open shot here or there. Or free throws. You know... just the basic stuff. Unbelievable.
Seat is warming up CCM
This team is no better coached or any better overall than the pre pearl teams
All I want to see from this game is for Yemi to pick up Henderson and pile drive him to the ground. At this point, I'd take that over a win.
He misses the tournament this year which is a foregone conclusion, and he misses it next year to and he is gone.
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.
Ok I understand him missing it this year and next year. But he's less than a year and a half in (games wise) and it would be another year and a half before he would be fired. So why on the hot seat in less than two years. With last year being #2 in the conference when picked at the bottom?
FINAL IN KNOXVILLE: Ole Miss 92, Tennessee 74.
Rebels drop almost a hundie in the Tommy Bowl. Didn't see that coming.

Not even close with Maymon out and a 5* coming in next year that can change everything. No doubt he needs to fill some key needs for the next 1-3 years. But those 2 players alone could mean Sweet 16 if Golden improves back to where he was last year
I like Cuonzo but he has to get a PG or he isn't going to succeed. They just can't run an offense, to many combo guys.
Not the best D the last 2 games........hope its not a sign for @Bama next
probably true. Next year is critical. If stokes comes back, which you have to assume at this point, maymon is back and you add hubbs, we should make the tourney no question. This is just a lost year without Maymon..
I don't know about that. If he misses next year, he will be on the hot seat for sure, but no way he's gone unless it's just an absolutely atrocious season. Sure, there will be people wishing he was gone, but it will take more than just missing the tourny 3 years for there to be enough rumbling to get him to be fired. Can't see Hart pulling the trigger unless the team becomes an embarassment.
Call me crazy but they really miss Tatum, he wasn't much of a scorer but he was the leader who kept their heads straight on the court
He has never made the tournament as a head coach. He has to make the tourney next year or like Drizz said he is gone and that isn't being unrealistic.
I completely agree with this statement drizz. We have to get a point guard that is a representation of our coach. Definately not Trae there and a wing that can fill it up like Henderson for Ole Miss.
Sadly, if he's bad next year, fans will start to chant about a return of Bruce Pearl... I don't agree with that, but you all know as we'll as I do that you can bank on it happening if next year isn't above average.
