Brandon Stewart...kidding, kind of
Brandon Stewart helped us get in the Natl. Championship Game, so he is not a bust to me
I'd think that is a little harsh on Ben Martin. He didn't ever cause any trouble, he was just never healthy.
Travis Cozart, Brent Schaffer, Demetrice Morely, Lennon Creer. Lots of promising talent that was cut short for one reason or the other!
How bout Kelly "The Future" Washington...
Pretty sure the question is about busts while at UT. Not NFL busts
It was unfortunate that Dustin got kicked off the team. He's a good guy who did come back to UT and finish his degree and frequently comes back for games. Still remains a VFL despite the trouble he got into at school.
Brian Darden and Ontarrio Smith are two that come to mind as huge busts.
Bryce Brown, Kenny O'Neal and Chris Donald. Those are my 3. You could say Coker, but he made some plays (anyone remember that Lucas Taylor flea flicker against UGA in '07? Yeah, Coker could fly) and did contribute in 2006 and 2007. Of course, I'm only 19 years old and a college freshman, so some of y'all may remember farther back than I do.
"What did he do? All he did was score!" - John Ward
I just remembered that I had a dream last night about some kind of cyclops creature.. I think it may have been a horse.
There's 2 that REALLY stand out. Chris Donald who Fulmer thought was one of the best LB recruits this state has ever produced. Another is Brian Darden, he was a huge recruit. He came here and could barely put on his pads.
Brian Darden and it is not even close..If you dont agree your too young...lol
I vividly remember all those mentioned but to me, by far, the biggest bust was Brian Darden.
Yeah that's garbage putting him on the list jaques is the bigger bust them him. Smith is healthy just sucks
Yeah it was a bad joke, it was just unfortunate he happened to be in the same class as the Greatest to Ever play the position
Daniel Brooks, on many levels. It'd be hard to disagree with this. You can basically trace Tennessee and Fulmer's downfall to this.
@brookspw on the twitter
Was very disappointed for that kid. Saw him play several games in person, and he had success written all over him for potentially the next two levels.
Lane Kiffen???? !!!!
I agree. It wasn't Martin's fault.
Someone mentioned Scotty Hopson, I disagree, but if you want to go Basketball how about Ramar Smith.
I played w/ Brooks aka "Mississippi", @ JCM here in Jackson, Tn - I wished Fulmer would've asked us ab Brooks, we blew him up everyday in practice. Could've saved Phil a scholy. Helped my buddy Bo Hardegree get going - believe he's on LSU's staff now.
I agree with Daniel Brooks. Doesn't help matters that by choosing Brooks, we chose to overlook Patrick Willis and he says he's still using that shunning as motivation in the Superbowl on Sunday.
Thanks for sharing and posting, Sae023.
