I have phone interview next Thursday morning for a position in an Athletic Department. It's an Associate Athletic Director position. It's not at UT, but maybe I can move up. Maybe one day in the future Wes, Ryan and Kevin will be wondering who WV-Vol is going to hire as the next head coach? Please wish me luck and if you remember, say a prayer for me!!!
Congrats man! That's awesome. LTD!
Awesome. Best of luck.
Movin on up!
Thanks to everyone. I'll keep you posted.
Good luck !

Can always use good sources! Good luck!
Your team. All the time.
Good luck to you! My youngest is planning to major in Sport Management and would like to work in either college or professional athletics. Got any advice I can pass on to her? You can PM if you would rather. Thanks!

It would be great to have an ORANGE blood as AD. That's were they went wrong and it all started...getting Mike Hamilton from where..I think he was a Clemson guy. Good luck to you WV-VOL.
Dude! Take a growler of your best craft recipe. You will get the job AND make some friends!
Knock 'em Orange WV-Vol! And a prayer sent.
BUTCH IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. GO VOLS!
Is that you Dana?
With prayers and faith you don't need luck!
Its not a stupid question until you ask it.
Good luck and I'll pray for favor for you.
Honestly, I never thought I'd work in an athletic department. I've always thought of myself as a capitalist. I love sports, especially college sports so I applied for this job. I kind of forgot about it but got a call on Friday morning asking for an interview. It's an FCS school in the midwest. The advice that I would give to your daughter is the same that I would give to anyone pursuing any job: Work harder than the next person. Work ethic covers so many flaws. I once heard from a very successful man that he gets to work an hour early and leaves an hour late because that gives him an extra 10 hours a week to get an edge on the competition. Best of luck to your daughter. Let me know if there's anything I can do for you.
Haha, great advice! I'll have to serve them up one of my IPA brews. +1
Maybe? With a considerably smaller contract!
Good luck unless it's at Bama. ;)
