Just read that the NFL is considering getting rid of kickoffs. After a touchdown or field goal the team that would have been kicking off will then get the ball again on their own 30 and it will be 4th and 15. They'll have to decide whether to go for the 1st down or punt.
I know they want things to be safer, but I think this is crazy. What do you guys think?

This was also reported yesterday (12-06-2012) on the Tim Brando show. Tim Brando said it was a quote from Roger Goodell in a time magazine article. I think he was throwing it out there to gauge reaction.
