We will continue praying for your dad, your family, and for you polirules.
BUTCH IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. GO VOLS!
God be with him, you, and the family in all things.
Will be praying for you poli. Cancer is a difficult disease to say the least. Will be hoping and praying for the best for you and your family.
My prayers are with you all.
I lost my father when I was 10 and was raised by my stepfather. He just had quadruple bypass surgery and its been hard because he's a different, weaker man from what ive known. I do understand and my thoughts and my prayers will be for your dad and family! God bless! VFL!!
Still waiting on biopsy results that should be in today. I'm told he's not a candidate for radiation/chemo right now at his current health. They can revisit that in the future should his overall health improve.
Looking at potentially using growth inhibitors. The biopsy will let us know if it is possible.
Either way, the damage is done from what I understand. There's no removing it, there isn't much chance of shrinking it. We can only hope to contain it.
Not great news, but not the worst, either.
Will continue praying. Remember God is great. All prayers sent your way.
One prayer - going up.
At my celebration 'dinner' (in regards to spending our first night in the house), I got bad news on my dad. Growth inhibitors won't help his condition. He is getting worse and worse. He needs to get better for chemo to be an option. Today they mentioned potentially placing him in a hospice.
My sails began to sag after that. The old man ain't doing well. I haven't been optimistic because of his old lifestyle, but this news still cut me pretty bad.
I should be thankful he was able to see my son. My mom wasn't as lucky. He met my wife and was a our wedding, more things my mom didn't get to do.
Hug your parents, if you can.
"Count it down with me. Five, four, three, two, one.
The national champion is clad in Big Orange!"
Prayers for you and your family.
Today would have been my mom and step dad's 32nd anniversary.
When I was four, he convinced me that February 8th was my birthday. When they went to get married on that day I was upset they didn't have my birthday present when they got back.

1 Corinthians 16:13 Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
Praying for your dad, your family, and for you polirules. Peace and strength from the Almighty. God Bless.
You can be like a doctor and look at it... you can be like a lawyer and talk about it... or you can be like a farmer and plow right into it.
Sending prayers for your dad and your family!
Not looking good for the former minor league second baseman. He is getting irritable, nervous, and forgetful. Kind of like Wes, I guess.
OK, I had to type that so I could smile a bit. I got bad news from my sister today.
Hospice appears to be the final answer. Along with the other conditions listed, he's losing control of his bodily 'functions', so to speak. My sister didn't ask how long he had. She didn't want to know.
His wife has all but abandoned him at this point. He has been moved in with my sister while his wife maintains her "normal life". His wife actually said that she needed to live a normal life! Meanwhile, my sister's life is upside down right now. Many non-Christian things I'd like to say to that woman right now. My sister has asked me to stay out of it, though.
My sister is obtaining a power of attorney tomorrow. Hopefully that will help in removing his wife from the equation financially and from any life insurance benefits.

So awful on so many levels. I am saying some non-Christian to myself about his wife for you. In sickness and in health...or until someone wants a 'normal' life. Wow.
