When Rick Majerus decided to take a leave of absence for health reasons, the news was concerning. When he announced he wasn health issues has become known.
Terrible. I remember that Utah team that went to the final four. Heck of a coach.
Good coach, sorry to hear that
Whaaaaaaat!! That's freakin crazy! R.I.P. Coach.
Insane! I really liked him. Sad
Sorry to hear that. I was always a fan of his.
Sorry to hear this. The guy was a really good coach.
"Never take for granted what it means to be a Volunteer." Peyton Manning
Majerus was one of a kind. Even though I never rooted for his teams, I always loved to hear him talk...
This is really saddening. Coach Majerus was always so kind to everyone. His players would run through a brick wall for him and he'd do the same for his friends and players. I'll miss Coach Majerus a lot. I'll always be thankful for his guidance and help.
Your team. All the time.
I met Rick once while I was doing some work at the Chaifetz Arena in St Louis. Seemed like a decent guy. Did a lot of great radio here.
I heard a few negative things about him here in St Louis when he first got here and then again a year or so ago. I knew he took a leave of absence from the program but I thought it might have been more of a pr or money thing. I hate that I was wrong on that.
