Spring Training getting heated already. LOVE IT! Phillies are healthy this year, they aren't going to roll over.
Drizz, full disclosure as I am a braves homer, but I just don't think the Phillies are going to do it this year (even if they are healthy). Sure they have a lot of names on their team, but if I am not mistaken you are the only team in baseball whose entire infield is over the age of 33. Lee and Halladay are also getting up there in age (granted I will take an old Halladay over most young studs anyday). I just feel that by the end of the season injuries will have piled up again, and the Phils will be the 3rd or 4th best team in the east.
Certainly possible. But they only had 1 down year. The previous 3 they were right there. Utley is healthier now than the past 3 years, and Howard is 100% and raking in Spring training...
They key will be Dom Brown or Darrin Ruff, the corner OF's. One of them needs to play well. Dom has been amazing thus far, hitting moonshots.
Drizz, I, was watching the game on MLB.TV while at work today. One of the announcers said he didn't think that Doc was retaliating because it was spring training but there is no doubt that he was sending a message. I think that the Phils will surprise a lot of folks this year and be right in the mix in the East. Dominic Brown has been a beast this Spring and Ryan Howard is killing the ball as well. Gonna be a fun season.
