Formally known as govols011 - follow me on twitter @C_Dillard6
I'm watching it; really surprised Wes hasn't tweeted about it yet.
I'm watching. Mexico has had plenty of chances. We've been quite lucky. Wish Bradley could've controlled that ball in the middle of the box and got a shot off.
Very lucky 1st half... Could easily be 2 or 3-0.... Gotta get better movement and be more involved on the O and not allow Mexico to spread our D so much... Go USA!!!
I feel stupid watch soccer somebody teach me. National soccer seems pretty fun.
There are only four answers to any question: Yes, No, I don't know, or the Correct Answer.
Just tuned in, not a huge soccer fan but love me some 'Merica!
Watching. With bourbon.
Josie Altidore off. Such wasted talent. US needed him. He tears it up in Turkey and sucks for country.
WTH is wrong with him? Dude murders it in everything but National games.
Got away with a penalty on that one.
Yep. And I'm ok with it.
Me to. But we never get calls in Mexico
I think I found a new love. National soccer. That was fun.
Great draw! Merica!
I started watching soccer during the 2010 World Cup to follow the US. Go buy FIFA if you play video games and then you'll really be hooked.
for us a tie is a win , no one was giving us a chance to win that game tonight
The US was in second place in the group heading into the game in Mexico City. Mexico had 0 points heading into this game, so it gets them on the board, but it puts the US team in good position for the rest of this stage.
Mexico actually had 2 points both off of draws but that was only our second tie in history in World Cup qualifying and we've never won in that stadium so getting a tie there is huge so now were still beating them in points in the standings for qualifying
I most definitely respect the games of soccer and hockey. Those guys have lots of talent and true grit. With that being said, ideally for me, it would be so much more exciting if they would just combine the two sports.......call it "sockey" or better yet "hocker".
Grown men running around on a sheet of ice trying to kick the snot out of a hocker ball........now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout Jack. Mix in the occasional brawl on ice. That would be entertaining.
Before you get fired up, I'm not trying to be disrepectful of either sport. I just saw some highlights Monday of a soccer match (in Denver I think) that was played in snow. Just got me to thinkin'.
I'm becoming a huge soccer fan, especially after watching EPL and Champions league, along with World Cup. After watching those 3, its tuff to watch MLS. Such a huge drop off.
not really a huge fan but enjoy watching a game when the US is involved
Beasley stunk it up last night. We're very lucky to get the 1 point.
Guzan played really well.
Honoring the greatest coach of all-time ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Neyland
yeah but we were playing without arguably our best player ever , Mexico never loses at home ..good get
