I'd crap my pants for starters....
I'm no wildlife expert but that is a rattlesnake, right?
BUTCH IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. GO VOLS!
When my Granddad was alive we used to go hog hunting down in South Ga. and Northern Fla. and I've seen some pretty big eastern diamond backs, but none were quite that big. Funny thing is they're pretty timid compared to a copperhead. Still wore my snake chaps though.
Yes sir. Gotta to be some sort of record. Said on The Blue Board it was killed in Mississippi
I thought it was a python or boa at first, then I noticed the shape of the head and the rattles. If I saw that thing out in the wild, I'd be turning around and getting out of the county...
I just really had no idea that rattlesnakes even came close to getting that big. Wow.
That dang thing has been eating good.
Make some new boots and maybe a belt
There is nothing wrong with change, if it is in the right direction. - Winston Churchill
You could make seatcovers with THAT skin.
Mutant Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake!
That guy could have starred in a bad horror movie.
D***, Mother Nature, you scary! *Family Guy*
Just another lemon into lemonade job. - Switchfoot
I wear a size 16 shoe and am 6'6" tall... probably just get the belt and boots. But if I can throw in any extras I am all for it.
Lol...believe it or not, rattlers that size aren't uncommon. I lived and worked in Texas for years and ran across 6 footers quite often. Last one I ran across was in a little town called Edna, Tx late one evening. Was 6'5" long and couldn't strike due to the rabbit being swallowed lol. Don't have pics with me, will post if interested. Snakes this big are usually fairly docile.
+1 for the Family Guy reference....

Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go.
Please post pictures if you can find them!
I don't like copperheads. I got bit by one when I was in the 4th grade. I'm not a big fan of any snake.
That guy looks about 5-8...........that thing is 2+ feet bigger than him.
I would crap my pants and throw up while fainting into a seizure while my nose starts bleeding if that thing was a few feet from me........after that.........I doubt it would matter much.
Lol....sounds like u don't like snakes. Yeah no doubt it's big. About 3-4 years ago there was an email roaming around of a 9'2" rattler supposedly caught on the municipal golf course in Cleburne, Tx. Come to find out the photo had been photo shopped very well. It was actually 6'8" and caught at the cemetery lol. This one looks real though.
"Count it down with me. Five, four, three, two, one.
The national champion is clad in Big Orange!"
WTH? What part of MS?
Judging by the color of the mud on his truck.. It looks like he's in the delta.
How was the snake killed- I don't see any injuries??
maybe a .22 between the eyes?
