Outside the Lines got a hold of the practice video that got Rutgers coach Mike Rice suspended in December, and it's pretty disgusting. Shoving players, throwing basketballs at players, and screaming homophobic slurs at 18 and 19 yo kids. I don't know how this guy wasn't fired initially, but he's definitely got to go now.
Edit: Here's the video.

Attached is the ESPN story of this. I went to grade school thru high school with Eric Murdock, who put together the video and brought it to the AD. He's a standup guy, who was shafted.
What a punk and complete disgrace! They ought to put his sorry ass on the FT line, tie his hands behind his back, and let the players bitch slap his ass, throw balls at his nuts & head and see how long he can take what he dishes out? Guys like that are NEVER as tough as they like to think they are!
There are only four answers to any question: Yes, No, I don't know, or the Correct Answer.
A high school football coach was fired here awhile back for taping tampons on kids heads. Said if they were gonna practice like p#%+ies they should look like them. Was suspended immediately and fired a few days later.
"Give him six" "We don't give a damn about the whole state of Alabama" "Grit N Grind"
Rice just got fired. AD needs to go also imo.
Agree plus whoever else was involved in the cover up attempt. They never wanted those videos out.
I'm confused why an otherwise excellent AD would risk his job for an abusive coach who's never finished higher than 11th in the Big East. Just doesn't make sense to me how shortsighted people can be some times, but I guess we're all guilty of it.
I'm sorry but how did these kids put up with this? I hate to sound like the internet tough guy, but his players should have taken his ass out.
