This stuff is about to kill me LOL I feel like I have been run over by a truck
When Wes was encouraging people to post more, I don't think this is was he meant......
I did it for 3 weeks before my spine gave out and i lost 11 lbs.
It's legit if your body can handle it.
I did it a few years ago. If you can make it through the first week or so, it gets easier.
I thought the Insanity workout was tougher than P90
Havent tried it, I can get motivated enough.
insanity is soo much worse then p90!!!! the tapout xt is pretty legit to!!!! man but insanity will always be my favorite to.. feel sooo good after u finish to!!
If the P stands for pepperoni, I'll do it.

Good program. I have started it a couple of time, but never went the full 90 days. Have been thinking about giving it another go. Since I retired I need to do something to stay in shape. Its just too nice not having to work out. Can make one lazy.

Don't read the post if you don't like it pretty simple huh?
I did it for about 11 weeks. Got in the best shape I've been in since playing b-ball in high school. That was up until I couldn't swing a golf club for 18 holes due to the tennis elbow and shoulder pain I developed. A 40 + year old body may not be the ideal candidate for P90 or Insanity. At least that's what I figured out.
I was scared there were going to be pics and I still opened this thread- what the hell!
I love P90x, planning to make a new run at hitting the 90 day mark. I lost about 12 after about 2-3 weeks and i stopped after twisting an ankle at work, then tweaking my back, also at work. Sure bad luck can't stop me a second time right..er third..? meal planning is my failure, cant seem to give up mtn dew or cheese burgers.
I'm in my 40s this is my second time doing it the first time I went by the diet plan and the exercise I lost 30lbs in 4 weeks! Best shape I have ever been in it does work 100% positive you just have to be hard headed and stay committed.

I thought I'd bump this thread, since I just bought the dvds. They haven't arrived yet. I'm still trying to figure out when I'll find the hour and a half. Is anybody else starting out or currently doing P90X?
