How am I not surprised?
A USC football student manager has been relieved of all duties with the Trojan football team for intentionally deflating, below NCAA-regulated levels, some game footballs used by USC's team during the first half in last Saturday's game against Oregon. Game...
Deflated balls and inflated egos. Both were corrected during the game.

BUTCH IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. GO VOLS!
Translation: We lost that game so we are going to find some factor that could make people question whether or not we had a fair shot. Then everyone will love us because we totally got robbed.
Butch Jones. Who???
Nice one Orange nNC +1
IT TAKES NO TALENT TO HUSTLE
Depending on how much they were deflated, of course, many QBs like the feel of slightly underinflated balls [try not to laugh], and most kickers do, too.
Now, if we're talkin' nearly limp and flaccid here [OK, feel free to laugh now], they were so underinflated it would have hurt USC, but the refs would have noticed immediately, and it would have been corrected.
JMO, but I doubt the dude was trying to hurt his own team. I think he was trying to help 'em cheat.
Everybody rip your shirt off [well, exceptin' you ladies] and shout it with me and Coach O: WILD BOYS!!

"Bravely taking to his feet, he beat a very brave retreat." Sir Robin's Minstrels.
Read an article this morning that Lane is considering/ buzz is he needs to fire daddy. Got gashed pretty badly by Oregon.
"Count it down with me. Five, four, three, two, one.
The national champion is clad in Big Orange!"
I have nightmares about Oregon will do to our D next year if things do not get better quick.
Me too. The only consolation is they seem to gash everyone. On second thought that's no consolation.
JMO, don't really think the student manager did that on his own, he probably recieved instructions from someone a level or two above his pay grade, just saying....
100% came from a level above him.
I'll be honest, my head coach last year would purposely try to float a very under inflated ball for kicking.
It was kind of embarrassing to me. It was only caught one time.
According to ESPN, Kiffin's now saying the student manager acted alone....yeah right Kiffin! What game manager would decide on his own, to deflate game balls just for the heck of it? Oh man...Kiffin will get hammered by the NCAA or Pat Haden eventually....and I will laugh my butt off when he does.
Kiffin is such a liar. Why would a student manager stray from the straight and narrow?
Three losses by a preseason No. 1 and now this.... Kiffie's heading for a cliff.
I was listening for Cowherd today on my lunch and he was saying all this stuff that's happened this year is starting to wear thin on Pat Haden and its starting to fester. If anyone listens to Cowherd, he has a man crush on Kiffin and is a huge USC homer.
Then on the SVP show, Van Pelt was roasting Kiffin about this.
Was it Haden that hired Kiffin or the guy before him? Can't remember exactly. Let's not forget about the changing jersey incident either. That one may not have been illegal, but that sure was unethical. It was against Colorado, too! Come on, does he really need to cheat to beat them?
House of cards out there that was and continues to be overhyped. Great storied program that is continuing to go in the wrong direction. A loss to ND should light that seat on fire...
I heard both shows. Somedays Cowherd is good and some days he kills me.
That GA did not act all on his own IMO.
Cowherd was saying this team has underachieved and its looking like they may have 4-5 losses. UCLA being 7-2 doesn't help him either.

Comparing the UCLA vs. Arizona game with the USC vs. Arizona game is shocking....
RT @PedroMoura USC was fined $25,000 by Pac-12 for the ball-deflating incident, according to the conference.
Anyone just see the Brian Greise demo of the deflated ball on ESPN? He said Kiff and Barkley had to know, and it's prolly been going on for awhile. Student manager fell on the sword...
As an equipment manager who worked for Kiff i know all his tricks...this may or may not have been one of them for a while.
Double post sorry...

What's the benefit? Better grip for Barkley?
