I agree with you. I was just putting that up as a number that gives some ballpark of his straight line speed, something that I've never been a huge fan of since you don't generally run in a straight line in football unless you're Jacoby Jones running it back in the Super Bowl. If JRM earns a spot in the secondary, then I'd be more than fine with it because I think he has great vision, which is obvious in his vids on both sides of the ball.

Where did you hear that Brent brewer had one if the fastest 40s? I have never heard that before.
Leading up to 2011, Brewer, Neal and Hunter were consistently clocked as the fastest on the team.
It's just another point to the fact that track speed doesn't equal football speed.
I've said this before on here, but in high school I was a soccer player turned kicker. In shorts and a t-shirt I was the fastest kid on the team. With a helmet and pads on I was barely mid-pack.
