I have seen several places that Carl Lawson, Vonn Bell, and current-ASU commit Josh Dobbs are all leaning towards the Vols. That's three huge players. If CBJ can land Lawson and Bell he has two defensive cornerstones and with Dobbs a QB tailor-made to run his spread offense. I am looking forward to a strong finish for Vols nation. The future could be that much brighter by this time next week.

Thanks for the insight. It's always good to hear positive news from someone that isn't quite as biased as most of us on here are ha! (excluding W/R/K of course)
gotta like the sound of that !
thanks for the information....
Hoping it all stays that way. Especially for Lawson. I am really hoping Auburn screws it up badly with him during his OV this weekend....

"Give him six" "We don't give a damn about the whole state of Alabama" "Grit N Grind"
'Preciate the feedback, I think this staff has us in the right direction!
From Carolina to Tennessee, Rocky Top is always Home Sweet Home to Me!!!
Now Tyler Boyd, Davin Bellamy, Marquez North commits, and even EJ Levenberry. I gotta tell you, I'm super impressed with CBJ. Notre Dame chases North and Levenberry hard and despite the successes of the Irish season didn't get a whiff. Then CBJ comes into a sloppy situation (thanks Kiffin and Dooley) and is panning gold out of it.
The sky is the limit with him having a full season to recruit when you look at what he's done in such a short amount of time.
Thanks, been a long dry spell
you are dead on...im glad we didnt get gruden,strong,ect..im glad we got jones he is a proven winner and can coach these kids up..if there 2-3 stars he does a good job..hes good at getting the player in a spot to get the most out of him...hes at a place that he could retire at with the wins
he put together in 6 years..regardless if its the east ..at the end of the day hes a proven winner
kiffin&dooley wasnt proven winners, but proven losers ..at wins and loss at the place they came from..both could recruite..other then that,,cant give anymore props.
Thanks for stopping in NDGuyinFL. Especially since you are bringing encouraging news. You don't visit us near enough. I'm pretty pumped about CBJ but I drink a lot of . Maybe I shouldn't go there, but what is your take on the Te'o debacle?
BUTCH IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. GO VOLS!
Haha. It's all good. I think it's an unfortunate situation. People will continue to talk and listen to what they want to hear, but given everything that's come out I believe it to be pretty obvious that he is just an ignorant, naive kid who got caught in a sick bastard's game. He shouldn't have brought 'her' up at Awards' shows, but I also believe him when he said that he just found out and didn't know what to believe. To be told someone died and then to receive a call saying they are alive would shake anyone. While I know a lot of people will always believe he was in on it or he's gay or whatever, I still believe he's just a kind-hearted, hard-hitting kid who learned a valuable lesson. Watching him and listening to him for four years he's either the greatest actor the world has ever known or just a dumb kid. I will go with the latter. He won't drop out of round one (you can bet Baltimore would love to have him follow Ray) and it may be a blessing in disguise to fall out of the top ten. I would rather see him playing for Chicago than Buffalo anyways.
Thanks for sharing your take on that. Not to be taken wrong, but I truly hope that this situation was just a dump kid getting taken by a con. That's the best case scenario. Come on back by after NSD and we'll either cry on your shoulder or beat our chests. +1
lawson firmed up his commitment to go to AU. But its cool i mean we could get bellamy, bell, ford, dobbs, boyd and levenberry future looks bright for

Haha. I believe it was. Either way, he's going to the NFL now. I will be staying home from work tomorrow hoping ND puts the finishing touches on a very good (I'm hoping) 25 person class. I may need a good cry though it something goes awry. Haha.
We will see with Lawson. These kids who all flip and flip and flip I don't believe them until the LOI is sent. I think Foster still ends up at AU and Lawson doesn't. Just a gut feeling.
Hope you are right about that. I hope Lawson decides to come to UT and not at Auburn. I also think you may be on to something with Foster. He more than likely got hot headed and upset about the things that were said to him. More or less an 'I will show you' or 'you will regret this' attitude. Now that Foster has had the time to cool off and think, he may flip back to Auburn.
I dont see the Lawson thing at all. It's true, recruits flip, but from everything i've heard about Lawson, he's a super mature kid, and he certainly did all his due diligence before coming out and saying AU is the school. I dont see anyway at this point he flips to us. If he was having second thoughts at all, he wouldnt have come out and reaffirmed his commit to AU, he would have just waited til NSD, imo.
Reuben Foster's mannerisms during his announcement definitely made me think there is more chapters left in his book before its all said and done.
