We know the rest of the secondary. Does this look accurate, am I forgetting somebody? I guess Willie Bo and Jacques could play DE but I think they might give this a shot.
I doubt lathers is playing nickel. Seems like a great chance to get him rest and limit his snaps.
I thought the same. He used to be really fast I don't know anymore. I wonder who is quicker now him or AJ.
I thought the same thing after looking at the depth chart yesterday. Probably a big reason that AJ was moved to 'mike' in the base.

I know he was hurt and all but I'd still be surprised if Lathers isn't our fasted LB. It will be interesting to see how the coaches strategize getting rest for our LBs. Based on what I saw last year I don't think it'd be ideal for AJ to play LB in the nickel. Word is he's a step quicker but not sure its enough. We'll see. I agree with your OP that our primary LBs in the nickel will be Brewer and Lathers.
Speaking of nickel and STAR...one of my frustrations the last couple of years has been the lack of playing time for Gordon as well as his inconsistency. Frankly, I think Wilcox just didn't know how to use him in the bend don't break defense.
It would seem to me that Gordon is EXACTLY the kind of player that Sunseri would want. Active, physical, and has a big play, "gambler" type playmaking ability. I think he'll be on the field a lot this year and we may just see him blossom.
There were 2-3 games last year, including Kentucky, when he hardly saw the field and the defense wasn't nearly as good.
