Dooleys first year was some what acceptable, the second with injuries also some what acceptable, we're supposed to be improved and still get romped by 31 pts, on top of being our biggest rival( rival games are expected to be closer no matter what the other team has done). Also on top of that we just haven't won any significant games.
That's why so many people are voicing their opinions about Dooley. If you want a winning football program you need a winning attitude, not tring to score before the half when you have possably 2 tries and a qb and receivers that are pretty good at big plays I just don't get. And the field goal was what practice for palardy, don't get it either.
I'm one of the guys that always will support UT and believe they can win no matter who they play but I'm not sure if the coaches do.
I still think Dooley/sunseri should get(maybe) one more year to prove themselves(providing they get this team to start playing winning football the rest of this season).
I believe the offense will mostly stay intact next year and the defense will have a better understanding of what sal wants to do.
Saying that I do expect them to play winning football the rest of the year and go bowling and have a good season next year if the team stays intact. My expectations are going to be higher next year also.
Alright enough babbling from me I'm going to bed. Good night GBO.
