Seems like something strange with his recruitment. Not just Tenn, but overall. Kid looked really good at the Elite 11 camp, won MVP, #1 ranked dual threat QB by ESPN......yet his was committed to USF and his offer list isn't especially impressive.
One of the coaches on the Elite 11 show said he reminded him of Cameron Newton.
What's going on with him? Does his dad want $150,000 like Cam's dad? Does he have grade problems? Is he just not grading out on film very well to college coaches?
Something has to be up with the kid.

I think he just started playing football in 10th grade and is very raw.
He's only played QB for 1 year.
Raw, but his upside is phenomenal.
"I'm like Wes." --Ryan Callahan
Someone on TOS said he has serious grade issues, but I would think that would be out there already. If it's just that he's raw, I would think someone would take him and work with him.
Ya..........not a Vol yet
Remember that when everyone found out that he was good almost all the major programs were full up on QB commitments.

@Asiantii_2: Announcing my college decision Jan. 5th on NBC, tune in!
Has Coach Jones extended an offer to him yet?
Probably worth bringing in. If he isn't good enough to play QB, he's a good enough athlete to help in some area of the game. WR, STs, etc.
