Yes, I understand what you're trying to say. But my last words will be, with the timing of the two "separate" contracts, good luck proving that to the NCAA.
Not flaming you so I hope we are good.
This coaching search brings the funny.
Ron Higgins from Memphis Commercial Appeal was first to tweet about an offer before Thanksgiving. Who is giving info to Memphis reporters, if true?
+1 for this. The NCAA doesn't mind getting caught with its pants down - it always makes up for it by wading into the situation pantsless and causing as much carnage as it possibly can to punish everyone remotely involved for having the guts to be smarter than they're allowed to be.
WE TAKIN' OVAH!!! lol
"What did he do? All he did was score!" - John Ward
Yeah dude. Of course, we're cool. Intelligent people can disagree. I respect your opinion.
My guess is Jimmy Sexton
WREG took down story, edited it, then re-posted. They are doubling down on their claim. Whether it is true or not, this is the 1st media outlet to report that something is happening. Gonna be interesting.
Pro football talk has picked up the Memphis report.
There are only four answers to any question: Yes, No, I don't know, or the Correct Answer.
If nothing else, this will force a statement from someone.
. . . and if so, it might very well just be a lie, whatever the statement is, but "are we not entertained?"
"Bravely taking to his feet, he beat a very brave retreat." Sir Robin's Minstrels.
But they're not claiming any veracity, just re-distributing WREG's story. Which is particularly clear from the fact that they've perpetuated/morphed the myth about Jimmy Haslam having played for UT.
Yeah, it's time for bed. This isn't making any more sense than it did an hour ago.
Pretty easy to see that an issue such as this (if true) would take time to hash out, may look dead one day, come to life again, and create a desire on the inside not to have any extracurricular external chatter…
A BIG OLE +!
GO BIG ORANGE!!!
GO BIG ORANGE!!!
They took it down and edited it, but still failed to correct their info on which Haslam owns the Browns and which one played for UT?
I was under the impression that Jimmy Sexton didn't have a dog in this hunt.

Roy Adams maybe? Of course a call could have been placed from any where, even Cleveland, Ohio.
