There are only four answers to any question: Yes, No, I don't know, or the Correct Answer.
You and my Dad would get along great. He always talks about Hondo. I mean the guy is the leading scorer in Celtics' history with something like 29,000 points--and he did that without a 3-point line! He was definitely a beast. And of course, everyone knows how great Larry Legend was. It's a shame what happend with Lin Bias and well as Reggie Lewis. I believe that if both of those guys would have been playing with Bird, McHale, and Parrish in their final years, the Celtics would have another championship or 2 hanging in the Garden, and Michael Jordan would have one or two less.
And for those who know soccer:
"Give him six" "We don't give a damn about the whole state of Alabama" "Grit N Grind"
Marc Gasol is the best center in the NBA. Period.
Had Grizzlies season tickets when I lived there from 04-07. I saw some pretty bad basketball then. They are full-grown men now, though!
I love the NBA! Probably my second favorite past-time behind big orange football. I live in Memphis. The Grizzlies moved there when I was 9. So naturally I'm a Griz fan. I'm really excited about this year. Barring any major injury, which has killed us the last 2 years, I think this team can make a legit run at the title. The only team that truly scares me is the Clippers. They're such a tough match-up but we've proven we can beat them. OKC, San Antonio, Golden State also all legit contenders. BTW how awesome is it to watch the Lakers suck?! Glad to see some fellow NBA fans on here
Games 1 and 7 were brutal, but I have another reason I can't stand the Clippers.
I watch the games on League Pass and sometimes you get the Grizzlies local broadcast with Pete and Sean/Brevin (who are total pros, IMO) but other times you get the other team's local feed. The Clippers play-by-play guys are the absolute worst, Lawler especially. They disparage the opposing team constantly, and listening to them, you'd think the Clippers have won 10 NBA titles in a row. They seem to forget that until last season the Clippers were a laughingstock in all of professional sports, not just basketball.
Really? I've never heard/seen a Clippers broadcast because I don't have league pass, but hey I'm always looking for new reasons to hate the Clippers.
