And for those who know soccer:
Eric Ainge did beat Fl, but I specifically remember he ANd the team folding like a blanket in the second half to FL in the 1997 game. And I don't believe his ripping the team on air is going to help the situation. If this team feels like the fans and former players have given up on them, then what is the point of playing?
Erik wasn't on the team in '97.
And I can understand him folding like a blanket against Florida since he was 11 at the time.

He looked like a little boy out there playing a bunch of fully grown young men.
Manning was QB in 97 I believe. Tee Martin was in 98 when we won the NC.
He would have played better but his helmet kept falling down over his eyes.
Hah! Just was re-reading through this post and realized I put 1997 for when Ainge and the team folded to FL instead of 2007. Sorry guys. Brainfart. My point still holds though.
