Figured I would move the battle over here. Some potential participants may not see that there has been a battle brewing due to most of the battle taking place in another post. HERE is where we will settle this. HERE is where Team Young establishes dominance. I'm sorry, Pepe. You brought this on and now you must suffer the consequences.
Don't take it too serious.
Understand that it's all in fun.
Now low blows taking it TOO far. (I'm talking to you, PEPE!)
SHOW. NO. MERCY.
Let's get the age thing down. I'm for 34 and under as team young and 35 and over team old fart? What say you guys? Recruiting IS allowed.
W/R/K - We need a point system. Someone to judge. Is this possible?
Let the battle BEGIN!
And as always...GO VOLS!

Chief pv7b hunts by night. He uses the darkness to his advantage. Plus he's at his best when he's downed a few adult beverages and he can't do that while he's at work. But as a young whippersnapper living in the parent's basement, you wouldn't know anything about working for a living now would you? GO VOLS!
Chief Pepe does hunt in the dark but it's not because night is his weapon. He hunts at night because he can't remember where he placed his glasses and can't see. I know all about hard work. It's hard enough work having to dodge the members of Team Old Fart that take 71 minutes to merge into traffic. That gets stressful. Dodging metal rockets driven by Team Old Farts is a full time job! +1 for you. Good Volley.
How about we take it to a higher authority?
1 Corinthians 13:11
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things
Boom! Amen! End Thread! ////
Change thread title to- Young Punks vs Old Farts

Don't forget when your in the grocery store line trying to hurry to get home to watch the basketball playoffs and your stuck behind a old fart who whips out.........THE CHECK BOOK!!!!
You joining in on this battle or are you coming strong with your black belt in Bible?
I did give you a +1. Very good verse and I can't argue with the Good Lord. Sneaky methods you have, Ms. BluetickLady. BUT, either you're with us or against us!
And why couldn't we use allternate jerseys every now and then old timers??? It's not like y'all can really see the field from your seats anyways!!!!
Everyone in favor, say I. If team young is for this motion, I am too.
Score for the "old farts"
Game Over (NOT Over THE HILL either) We win

Slytyger coming with the HEAT! I LIKE IT! Maybe we can reserve the jumbotron section for team old fart and face the chairs in the direction of the jumbotron.
What age is the Mason-Dixon line in this??
Just because you are trying to get your nap in doesn't mean the battle is to be rushed. Get your Afghan Quilt, wrap your feet, and come back later when you are rested.
Mason-Dixon line? Whatcha mean, OrangeVol?
I am young, but I am not a child. David killed Goliath as a youth. Under David's influence, 400 emotional wrecks were transformed into legendary warriors while hiding in a cave. Just because we are young doesn't mean we can't be mature badasses, for lack of a better term. I'm only 27, but I'm a grown man and I behave like one.
That being said, some of the old guys on this board seem to have forgotten how easily recruit-aged people are influenced. When something negative happens in our football program, some of them usually respond by saying "Relax. This isn't a big deal. Don't over-react. We'll be fine." They bring a calming presense to the board, and that's good, that's what masculinity is all about. However, there is a very vocal minority among the older crowd who's lack of relativity to the young guns needs to be kept in check. You can't run to a public message board saying negative things about our coaches, program, players, etc without understanding that it COULD impact a kid's decision. Should it, absolutely not! Could it? Yes. Therefore, stop it.
I think this is where the young guns have an advantage. We understand the mind of an 18 year old kid. We aren't afraid to show love on Twitter, even if the kid doesn't deserve it, because we understand the impact that it could have. Simply put, we are just better recruiters. Plain and simple.
The line that separates the Young from the Old. What age?
I'm against. Turned 44 on May 2nd, so my side was chosen by whoever set the age limits in the 30's.
Besides the old farts on here make me laugh!

Lol! Love the thread trebonz! Gotta go back to work but Ill be back later to jump back in right after the old farts nap time and right before bingo starts!! Should be fun.
I am 34 and need to know what side I am on before I own this thread!
Got ya! I was thinking you meant northerners vs. southerners. We don't wanna go there! lol I put in the OP that I was thinking 34 and under is team young and 35 and older is team old farts. Age limit is negotiable based on comment responses.
I assumed I would be firmly in team young, but being a month from 35, my feelings are hurt beyond repair. So consider me an old fart. So when you youngsters are finished racing your Dodge Neons and texting while driving, and start posting some substance, I'll respond...
OrangeVol, you're 34. That's on the line to be with US! You mentioned "young punks". It seems you are torn. Choose wisely. I bet your heart is telling you to come home...
