Adidas, Nike or Under Armor?
I have a strong preference for UA. I think their apparel design is the best.....
I like the retro adidas apparel for myself. I dont really care for most of the new stuff, but I wouldn't want Nike or UA to make our jerseys. They love to make changes to uniforms, and I'm not for that. Guess im just old fashioned.
I'm content with Addidas, but I buy mostly Under Armour apparel now. I live the material, it never fades and lasts a really long time. IMO, their apparel is superior right now to Nike, Addidas and so on.
For Basketball Nike. But for Football Under Armour.
I'm not a fan of Adidas and would prefer Under Armour or Nike. Adidas makes it very difficult to buy stuff the teams wear beyond coaches polos. I have a feeling, based on Wes' interview, that Hart is itching to make UT a Nike school.
I think recruits prefer Nike and based on tweets from current players, they would prefer Nike as well. If Nike helps is in recruiting, I would make the change tomorrow.
I love under armour technology however Adidas is my second favorite for athletic clothing. Adidas keeps it classic and that is what I like. The new Adidas jerseys are sick as well. Check this video out!

If you read much about the culture of AAU hoops, Nike's influence therein and subsequent recruiting, including the way Lebron is used by Nike schools because he isn't an alum anywhere, there is no question to me that being a Nike school makes a difference in recruiting for basketball and very likely in football too.
I personally love the classic look and feel of Adidas and its my understanding that Adidas pays UTAD more, maybe someone can confirm or deny that? I've never been a Nike guy, but if it gets us in one extra conversation with a recruit I am all for it.
Jeter, which interview made you think Hart wants to be a Nike school? I missed that somehow.

"Count it down with me. Five, four, three, two, one.
The national champion is clad in Big Orange!"
Under Armor. They are leading change for military material and hunting gear, as well as sports uniforms.
That article might have actually been on TOS, my bad. I dont want to post that article on here but Hart did talk about a switch.
Maybe Wes can ask Hart about it in his next interview if he hasnt already.
Think we have a deal with adidas for three more years so it doesn't matter at this point. adidas is paying big bucks as TN is one of their major schools.
Your team. All the time.
I'm fine with Adidas, but don't really care, as long as it's NOT Nike i will never put another dime in their pockets again. People forget the crooked crap they pull in basketball. Besides, I don't like the clown suits their schools wear once a year. You do something like tht enough times, it's not unique aymore anyway.
