Here's the story from 247Sports' Bryan Matthews on a junior athlete from Auburn, Ala., who's the son of former Tennessee assistant coach Trooper Taylor, who recently received scholarship offers from the Vols and Auburn.

I'm sure he is already on Auburn payroll.
I used to watch/ref blaises rec basketball games at cedar bluff when he was younger. He was so much better than everyone else. It really wasn't fair. Trooper would come to a lot of the games and coach his son from the bleachers. You could hear him from outside the gym. I haven't seen what kind of athlete Blaise has developed into but he has obviously become a pretty good football player.
Does anyone know if Trooper was hired or offered a position with any other program?
Hasn't been hired, not sure about offered. He's probably enjoying the time off though, and spending valuable time with his family. I'm sure he'll be a great asset for Blaize to have by his side, as he goes through the recruiting process. My guess is that he takes this year to help Blaize make a good choice.
I'd say that's a pretty accurate assumption... With some luck Trooper may have good memories and times remembered at the UT. I'm sure he is letting his son make his own unbiassed decision...hopefully
