Your team. All the time.
I am actually one of those posters that lament the current posts on this site. Not because it is contradictory to my belief. Not because I love Dooley. And it's sure as hell not because I accept losing.
It's the timing.
We can still possibly go 8-4. Is it probable ? No. Is it possible ? Maybe. We'll find out. But throwing in the towel on this team and/or coach half way through the season just isn't my cup of tea. We have complained about this team giving up (can't say that anymore), and yet here we are throwing in the towel and getting ready to fire Dooley.
I am not saying Dooley is the man to get us back to prominence, but I am not willing to throw him under the bus half way through his third year. Maybe at the end of his third year, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
Also, if you're going to state your opinion about our current coaching situation, then you might as well be ready for negative responses along with some positive. Whether you're on Dooley's bus or driving the bus that is waiting to take him out of town, you're going to get blasted for your opinion. It's a sensitive subject, so you're going to get personal responses.
I understand why you want him gone. I get it, I really do. I want to win just as bad as anyone. And some of you have made some good points. But, the season is not over.
