Not against Bringing him in despite his antics. Only if his name is cleared with the NCAA
He is a great recruiter! But is that cause he breaks the rules to get his guy? We can't have that! I don't think Tennessee will touch him either way, but I did like him when he was here! He's great with the players!
Good move by Malzahn, IMO. Will likely hurt recruiting up front, but I'm sure it will be well worth it in the end.
Doubt he is cleared. Drizz did you just hear the guy on ESPN? He said he thought Jones was a great hire and his realistic number 1 from the beginning. The part that was interesting though is he Saud Cincinnati is pretty much the south and Jones has been able to recruit well in the southern area
Ed Cunningham is a moron... With that said, it's not a bad hire, I just thought we could do better. And Cincinatti is not the south.
Technically, Cincinnati is just as close as ATL, Columbia, Charlotte, some places in Bama from Knox :)
no way on trooper
Haha I kind of immediately regret pulling for Trooper. He is such a slimeball. but he gets players.
Wow! That's a body slam to his career since he worked for Malzahn previously. I think it says something...not sure what but it probably has to do with recruiting ethics. Nothing has ever been proven on the guy but the label right or wrong is there.
Regardless of the NCAA, I wouldn't bring Taylor back after he blazed the bridges when he left Tennessee.
Not sure about Cunningham, but I agree with you on your other points.
I smell technicalities. I don't like technicalities.
I agree I think trooper is dirty, but on the other hand nice guys finish last and that was proven with Derek Dooley .

He'll yeah why not bring him back.
No way on Trooper. Besides his alleged cheating, the whole Gerald Jones deal was dirty. I hope the NCAA hammers him and he's coaching Pee Wee football for the next ten years.
