With Tubby Smith out(reportedly) at Minnesota do you think he retires it get another gig?

There are only four answers to any question: Yes, No, I don't know, or the Correct Answer.
I missed it. Whats going on with Tubby?
IT TAKES NO TALENT TO HUSTLE
Fired. I'm stunned they fired him.
Makes sense. He took a program that was just about dead last in the big whatever and got them to respectability. Even beat a #1 team this past season but hasn't won a national championship.
Dude has to go.
I think he'll continue to coach. Just like Howland at UCLA, I think there are hungry programs that trust that either of these two guys still have some good stuff in the tanks. I was pretty surprised to see that Tubby was let go considering this was his best year at Minnesota. Someone on another site had mentioned that there could be a push to get Shaka Smart to Minnesota, as the same staff that hired him at VCU is now currently at Minnesota. But as I mentioned in this post, the UCLA position is open too...

Depends on how much cash he has saved up.
If he has been makin' it rain in Minneapolis, then he'll probably coach.
If he has a nice nest egg, I'd peace out. Nothing more to do.
Apparently the AD wanted his own guy
You sir are a wizard wish you were AD then we'd have CCM gone already....lolz +1

"Give him six" "We don't give a damn about the whole state of Alabama" "Grit N Grind"
"Count it down with me. Five, four, three, two, one.
The national champion is clad in Big Orange!"
I was raised a Kentucky fan when I was little and so I grew up with Tubby as the coach. I'm all Vol now, but I do love me some Tubby. There's no way he goes without a decent job offer, it's just a matter of whether or not he thinks its time to retire
Florida Gulf Coast will most likely need a new coach soon....dude is about to get PAID.
you got that right although he seems really happy where he is
Have you all heard the story of how this guy became a basketball coach. It is fascinating
The Minnesota AD is the one that hired Shaka Smart when he was at VCU. There is a lot of smoke about Smart going to Minnesota but after turning down better jobs I am hard pressed to believe iSmart would go to Minnesota. Also, it's ridiculous to fire Tubby. He has done a good job at a school that will never be a destination job for coaches. AD's drive me crazy these days.
With Howland and Tubby looking for jobs would you fire your coach to try and get one of these two?
those are two really good coaches - hard to figure why they were let go thats for sure
Dude is already a multi-millionaire, so I don't think he cares about paydays. The bank account also explains his supermodel wife.
I must've miffed someone with my comment.

I don't think they got your dry sarcasm.
Personally the main reason why I could see Shaka taking the Minnesota job is because this is as good time as any to leave VCU. With Butler leaving, and the A-10 starting to fall apart a bit with VCU being left behind I could see that making him say it might be time to take a better job.
