Crockett...best of luck for you. You need to do what's feels right for you and no one else. Thanks for sharing your last several weeks with us. It was VERY entertaining!
Absolutely understandable Crockett. Gotta take things at your pace and things will work out for the best.
"Never take for granted what it means to be a Volunteer." Peyton Manning
Well said, sometimes the timing is just not right.
Crockett, Keep your head up man!! I know very well about moving on too soon and taking your time.. Just keep your head up and be positive man!!! you will get over it! trust me man you will!! thanks for keeping us entertained! really enjoyed it.
"Count it down with me. Five, four, three, two, one.
The national champion is clad in Big Orange!"
I'm posting just to keep this thread near the top. I know how well-known Crockett is here, (and I sincerely hope things work out for you, dude, having been exactly where you were when I was your age. I can still sing along to all Barry Manilow's "she left me and I'm miserable" songs ). I'm also not shocked people would offer advice and encouragement.
But a 41 pg. thread? Never saw it coming. This is proof that "manly men" like a good soap opera.
Now, I just want to see how long we can keep this going. Crockett, just keep us informed, even if you are only taking a friend to lunch. I'd love to be able to say the longest thread EVER on this forum wasn't about a 5 star recruit, a win, or a coaching search, but a male poster's quest for that special life partner.
That'd be cool. I don't know why, exactly, but it would.
"Bravely taking to his feet, he beat a very brave retreat." Sir Robin's Minstrels.
Oh, this isn't over. We're just gonna have to change the ending of the movie a bit.
Best of luck Crockett. Hope everything works out the way it's supposed to for everyone.
Your team. All the time.
Crockett, the main thing to take away from this thread is that we all really want you to be happy, and in a zany way we've been pulling hard for you.
Remember that it ain't ever over.
While I'm devastated that you and the train lady are "taking a break" I appreciate that you waited until we got so much great news (Hurd, Kelly, Creamer, etc.) to soften our blow. I'm sure if you wanted to post a pic there would be much more excitement on this board.
Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go.
