Lets leave the Peyton's out of it. No all SEC type guys. Who is ur favorite player outside those guys? The role player type.....
I like the JUCO linebacker from early 2000's Sessions. He was #22. Loved the way he played. Was a big fan of Bobby Graham during same time. Liked watching Corey Larkins. Seemed he played almost every position while here. Tinsley was also another I liked. Will always remember his TD at Miami.
Mine would have to be either Will Bartholomew or Tyrone Hines. I just loved watching both of those guys play!
Was always a big fan of Andre Lott. But he also lived and coached football in my hometown for a while so I may be a little biased.
Craig Faulkner and Von Reeves

Bobby Majors & Richmond Flowers
Gonna go with Ryan Carl. Undersized white kid but he could get after it! Loved watching him play.
Robert Peace. He never got much attention but would absolutely crush anybody anybody that came near him.
Nick Reviez! Walked on and became a starter and team leader not to mention Captin!
Shawn Bryson, Craig Faulkner, JJ McCleskey, Jeremy Lincoln's butt

John Fisher was a local guy that was a stud at center.
Will Overstreet, Zach Rogers and currently Raiques Crump (sp?). All 3 were underestimated but always seem to come up big at times.
Wes Browns pick-6 vs Vandy was an All-Time classic.
Agree with Vol79, the way the team piled on him in the endzone was awesome.
Also liked FB William Reville. He left the program early but used to blow up LB/S in the run game. Was really fun to watch.

"People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."
offense- Jayson Swain
defense- Kevin Simon
Have to agree here. Has a big heart, never quit.
I love both of these guys. They just may be the two earliest players that I really remember watching because they were playing when I was 8-11 years old. However, they were both highly decorated players players and Flowers in particular was a tremendous athlete. In fact, if it hadn't been for a ham string injury right before the 1968 US Olympic trials Flowers would have probably been on the podium in 1968 as a medalist in the hurdles.
Good choice for favorite players, but I would hardly call them unknown.
And Marcus Nash and Jermaine Copeland tandum
Bryson for the 69 yarder i think against Fl in 98.
Bill Duff for stuffing Eddie George at the goal line.
Mose Phillips for one of the most incredble runs in TN history.
All hardworking role players that had one oe two shining moments in thier time at TN.
I see what you did Mr. Rucker
Eddie Moore . He laid some bonecrushing hits during his day.
Jim Bob Cooter
Nick Reviez. Kid had more heart then any guy I've ever seen play. When he dropped to one knee and fought back tears after the LSU loss, man. Walk on to starter and captain taught me anybody can accomplish something with hard work. At the time I was playing high school football and it inspired me.
I also loved Zach Rogers. Played against him in high school so always pulled for him but last year made me respect him forever. True VFL and never stopped leaving it all on the field.
"Give him six" "We don't give a damn about the whole state of Alabama" "Grit N Grind"
