...but that was fun to watch last night. I felt all season that FLA was overrated (offense was definitely shortcoming, D was pretty good though). CCS proved on a national stage that he is an outstanding coach. I can't stand FLA and was happy to see them exposed.
Trample the Weak-Hurdle the Dead
Wonder if that loss to Louisville will sway some commits away from UF?
I posed the same question in another thread. I doubt it but it would be great to see them take it is the shorts. I like the rivalry but can't stand the fans. They are second only to UGA fans in their level of abnoxiousness(new word) with the exception of my dawg wife.
Lol...I hear that!!!!
That may have been the best game I've seen this bowl season. There have been closer games, but this one was the best. Simply because the Gators, who LOVE to run their mouth, got spanked by a Big East (now ACC) team. Props to the 'Ville for getting it done. Florida was the most penalized team in the SEC and showed a national audience that they are also classless.
I love it when we rip on a school we have not beaten since 2003. I would kill for their talent right now and where their program is against where our talent and program are.
I couldn't make up my mind if I was sorry to see an SEC team lose or happy to see UF lose. One thing I did come away feeling better about UT's chances in the near future. That game showed that, with the right coach, good SEC teams can be beaten without a roster full of 5 star players. I think we have the right coach [UC lost by 3 in overtime to UL this year and beat UL last year] and that there may be hope for next year after all. Also -- it does make me feel at least a little good to see UF lose.

So what should we do, EastDillon, just be in freaking awe of them. The way they play, talk trash and generally thumb their nose at every other team in the league is nothing but classless. I don't go and rip Alabama for things like this because they don't do it. They just play, when the whistle blows, line up and play again. Do I "like" Alabama? No,but I respect them and how they got to where they are and I want to get to where we can beat them. But first I want us to SHUT UP FLORIDA. I want us to bUTch slap 'em!! We have to win our division first, then on to bigger and better things. Crawl before you walk. GOVOLS
I was really shocked by how unmotivated and how undisciplined Florida was. Everyone at my office is wondering how much control Muschamp really has with that team. That was just plain embarrassing for Florida. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
They've been undisciplined for a while because their coach is undisciplined. The guy whines every time a flag is thrown against them. At least that officiating crew last night had the backbone to slam them with penalties for their behavior.
And another thing...........did you guys catch where the announcers said FL only sold 7000 tickets of their 17500 allotment? Not much of a traveling fan base, huh.
We were talking about that today at work. How unmotivated Florida was and how Much amp really didn't seem interested at times. I couldn't believe Florida didn't travel better too. It was an all around debacle for the whole university and sadly for this conference.
