Has Tennessee done enough in your opinion or do they need to beat Alabama?

Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go.

Not Wes or Ryan, but IMO, the Bama game becomes a play-in. They're right there on the verge and getting a win over Ms St. or USCe doesn't really help a ton, therefore Bama becomes a play-in game.
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.
At this point and based on projections, I'd lean towards "no". It's also a little premature to say "we need 1-2 games and we're definitely in". Why? Because there are many teams in the hunt for those "last 4" spots and with conference tournaments starting up, it's literally an hour-by-hour fluid situation. There will be a surprise conference winner (or two) that will take a bubble team's spot. Happens every year.
It's not to say we're in a bad spot! The Vols control their own destiny by continuing to win. Looking at the SEC tournament, getting to Alabama is a necessity: if we don't, Vols are out. Beating Alabama keeps UT where it's at or advances a spot or two up (my best guess at this time). Beating Florida is beating Florida and maybe another 2-3 spots up (another guess from an amateur!). Go Vols, win on Thursday!

I disagree that it's a play in game against Bama. When you compare Résumés UT is ahead of Bama in every category. SOS is 35 to 89 vols. vols have a top 25 Bama doesn't. Vols have 4 top 50 wins to bamas 1 and 9 to 7 top 100 wins
The most important thing to remember is that you can't view UT's results in a vacuum. The bubble is a fluid thing. Outcomes that have nothing to do with Tennessee or even the SEC could put UT in or out of the tournament.
