My two cents:
If you are dead set on Vietnam then I hope it is a better place to visit than to live in! I lived in Hanoi for 4 years and it has become far less charming and far more polluted/crowded. I would suggest central Vietnam (Hoi An, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Da Lat). These places are not as crowded and have some very beautiful areas. That being said the major cities have FANTASTIC food! Just rent a motorbike and explore! That's always fun no matter where you are in Vietnam.

Thanks for the tip.
Hi Denver. Here's three for you.
1. You're planning on visiting Vietnam. What is the most austere, out of the way place you have visited so far?
2. Rocky Mountains or the Smoky Mountains?
3. Name the top 3 of your bucket list.
What are your feelings on:
1. Jay Graham
2. Tee Martin
(1) Central China. Leaving coastal China and driving inland 2+ hours is like going several centuries back in time. It's a very bizarre dichotomy.
(2) Depends if you're into fishing, skiing, or eye-candy. There are some stunning views in the Rockies, but Appalachia's home. I'm going with the Smoky Mountains.
(3) Live in a giant international city like Singapore or Shanghai for a bit, start a business and try again if it fails (currently in the works), and I'll give thought to #3.
I work in the investment industry and would only take a job with the Vandy endowment fund if they gave me a superior offer or upside to what I currently do.
Emotion is for the fans to have. Those guys are professionals now, and as much as we'd like to romanticize them coming back home to coach, it just isn't that simple. I'm sure it was a tough choice for each of them to not come/stay here, but rest assured that we know very few of the details. Decisions like where to work are very nuanced.
kind of what I thought you would say... tough to argue with your point of view on that... but easy to understand why some were/are very upset.
Pick a victim for next week so I don't have to. :)
Great answers Denver. Good luck in the future.
Ever coming back to Tennessee for good?
Big Orange Country needs a Denver plus about 10,000 more.
Appreciate your commentary, and your sarcasm on a daily basis.
I will hang up and listen
There are only four answers to any question: Yes, No, I don't know, or the Correct Answer.

At least a suspension on this board till fall training camp, banned from tail-gating for 3 games, and no orange till the Home Opener.
DenverVol, gotta head to work here in a few. Will tune in about 3am and check in on the rest of your thread. Outstanding job today. One of the best WW...s ever. Appreciate ya man. GO VOLS!
Probably not due to my line of work and preference for bigger cities. Thanks for the kind words, though.
I was at that Bama game in 96 as a student and had to leave early due to having to wait tables at the downtown Hilton .... Made a whopping $40 serving pissed off Bama fans that filled up the resturant all at the same time ... Sucked to listen to the end of the 4th on the radio
