You gotta be a little crazy to live in this place. We've had about six inches of snow since last night, and about 9 inches total since Saturday.
My place is heated with gas (radiant baseboard), but some people use electric, central heat/air, or even wood burning stoves.

Double Musky in Girdwood is a great place for steak. Here in Anchorage, I like Humpy's, Moose' Tooth/Bear Tooth, Harley's (best southern-style food in town), and Glacier Brewhouse. I work as a Tech Support Lead for the main telecom in the state. We cover internet, local/LD phone, cellular, and CATV services statewide. I haven't seen the new iMac in person yet (planning to go to the Apple Store on Friday), but I like that they're slimming down the profile (and weight) of the machine. My main computer is a 15" retina MacBook Pro, which I love.
