Dan Haren. Overrated?
Does Ainge's crooked pinky make you wince when you shake hands with him?
What is your prediction of where the Men's basketball team finishes in the SEC? I saw where we are preseason predicted 4th by the media. What kind of seed for the NCAA do you forsee? I think this is the most excited I have been for basketball in my lifetime.
I love Dan the Dominator. And he was a good dude when I covered him for a couple of months in the minors.
If he can get his back straightened out — which he says he's done, but I'll believe it when I see it, since it's a back and he's not a kid any more — he'll go back to being great, IMO. He doesn't need the same velocity with all the movement on his pitches, including that filthy sinker. I mean .. the velo helps, but he can be good without it, IMO.
I'm just going to fire Arsenal Questions every week...
Why does Arsene Wenger feel inclined to play Aaron Ramsey, I feel like he is horrible, particularly on the wing. I also think Podolski is a waste at LW, he is not great with ball, and can't dribble past or around people...
What do you think of Podolski behind the Striker, and Arshavin playing on the left side, he is our best player at running at defenders. Then Walcott or Ox on right side.
I can't say much. I played catcher long enough and got hit by enough pitches during my baseball days that several of my fingers are crooked and gross.
In the next interview with Coach Sal can you incorporate "it's like anything else" into every question"?
True or false. PB Max was the next candy bar/square ever.
There are many signatures in the world....this one is mine!
I hear ya on Ramsey, but Wenger sees something. I know he hasn't been the same since coming back from injury but has tons of potential. I disagree on Podolski on one level, at least. He's a very good defender, and that defense is more useful at LW than it is at striker. But he's not great with the ball, so I get that. But he's a good defender for his position, IMO.
I don't trust Arshavin because he's inconsistent and absolutely worthless on defense. Podolski as a second striker would be fine with me, though, and I think he'd be good there.
I'll do it when the D starts playing better. Not sure I want to get punched in the face right now.
Honestly don't think I've ever had one.
I was wondering:
Through the last few years here at UT, some very minor turmoil has allegedly occurred within the athletic department. I am willing to bet that you have some very interesting information about happenings throughout these minor disruptive events...will you be writing a book? I would buy that book, I am sure many things have occurred that we as a fan base have zero idea about - and many things that we would love to know much more of, ha.
"Count it down with me. Five, four, three, two, one.
The national champion is clad in Big Orange!"
That's a down vote. Except Mars stopped making them around 1994.
Have you watched "Paper Clips?" The story about the kids at Whitwell TN?
Holy cow, someone recommended it to me. My wife and and I just finished watching it. When the holocaust survivors were talking we were both hurting emotionally.
