Next time you go through on your way to Charlotte send me a PM and I'll take you over to Alston Bridges and treat you to some good ol' Cleveland County Barbeque, Hushpuppies and Tea.
BUTCH IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. GO VOLS!
I remember you saying that back in your baseball days you were recruited by Gardner Webb. Ever visit the campus in Boiling Springs?

1. I think so.
3. No, but I was a decent intramural player in college. And no eligibility left. That ship done sailed.
4. None that I've heard of.
5. Tons. Name a topic.
I will consider this, but this is my thread and thus I make all of its rules.
My gut is the same. Wilcox saw something he considered a better situation for himself and took it.
Rizzo, but Jackson also should be very good.
I love dogs too much to answer this.
Dogs > People.
How tight is your Bro-mance with #20?
Whatever it is, it's not my fault.
Nothing in this thread is ever my fault.
That's one of the rules in this thread.
My thread. My rules.
Don't like that? Leave, IMO.
Go Cubs. Go America.
(Not sure now about the NLC.)
Crap never quotes.
It just stinks.
Because it's crap.
You will drop nothing except your dignity if you combat me in this thread.
Bring it, son!
I will not deny this.
But I will adamantly maintain that it doesn't change the way I do my job.
I would rather make less money than lose my journalistic integrity.
Three people in this world can call me "son" — my mama, my dad, and my grandma.
Only one of those three knows how to use the internets.
Are you my mama?
If not, I will smite you.
After all- where would you rather spend New Years - Nashville or (Miami, New Orleans, Tempe, Pasadena)
Volz winning has it benefits.
Driven by it. Never been to it.
By the time G-W started talking to me, it was the AAU season after my senior HS season, and I'd already chosen a future of sportswriting, partying and skirt-chasing over playing baseball, partying and having skirts chase you.
In short ... getting up every morning to workout SUCKS.
If I was I wouldn't claim you on the internets. Don't need that e-credit
If by "bromance" you mean "tried to tell everyone since the final game of last season that Rajion Neal was the best back on this team by a country mile and now loves listening to some people painfully admit that I was right" ... then yes, it's a "bromance."
Neil is a funny kid, though. Always fun to interview. And he has the most Atlanta accent in the history of Atlanta accents. So yeah, I enjoy speaking with the kid.
(But I've also enjoyed interviewing players who weren't nearly as talented, and some of the most talented ones are the least fun to interview.)
My mama doesn't claim me, either.
BOOM!!! I SHOWED YOU!!!
What's the deal with shaving your beard for charity?
SportClips contacted the station about asking me to shave the beard for charity. As long as people donate money, they'll donate, too.
Nothing is set in stone yet, but I got to pick the charity and wanted to pick something for East Tennessee kids.
I think I'm going with Camp Koinonia — a summer camp for children with special needs that allows them to do outdoor activities they wouldn't normally get to do.
My best friend is still in a wheelchair after sustaining serious brain injuries in a car accident when we were 16, so special needs children are kind of a soft spot for me.
