My seventh-grade math teacher called my mom "Mother Rucker" and no idea why we all laughed when he said that. He was a Catholic deacon. He didn't have a sailor's vocabulary.

Two hours left in Wednesday, and I'm dominating this thread.
Don't care, don't scare.
Here's a stat that will blow your mind: There were approximately 55,000 people at Dragon*Con this year. So there were almost as many walking around to see cuties wearing next to no clothing as there were people watching UT-NC State.
It is a business. I'm not opposed to taking chances, but I said turned down opportunities to leave the TFP until 247Sports made an offer I'd have been a moron to turn down.
I've been more fortunate than lots of people who are much more talented than me, though. I'm very thankful and very grateful for that.
Plenty of people fall into that second category.
Wayne Chism is the most enjoyable experience I've ever had covering someone, but several others have been great.
I'm staitioned at Fort Rucker, and there's actually a sports bar on post called "Mother Ruckers". Maybe I should send Wes a t-shirt for his mom...
Nah, not til the 247 shirts come out....
I am open to trade discussions, like in the good ol' fashioned Native American days.
After reading the Midweek Stock Report (which is great btw), I do not see how you, or anyone in "the public eye" deal with these keyboard pawns. It got me wondering, exactly how often do you have to deal with that crap?

Its not a stupid question until you ask it.
I'm actually shocked it took this long for one to show up on the board.
Wes, who is Byron DeVinnor, and what is his issue with UT football program?
Need an emoticon for [biting lip]
Or [scratching head]
If only I knew how to make those.... I'm just interested in seeing his response to that question.
Me too! It's all fun though.
OK, here's another. What's the difference between an Apache helicopter pilot and a porcupine?
Why is the flight deck of an airplane called the cockpit?
BUTCH IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. GO VOLS!
Glad to hear you say that about Wayne- I know his mother well, she's damn near family...And i can tell you this much- He HAD to be a good guy, or his momma woulda whooped that ass like a stepchild!- they're good people with great morals, upbringings, and class
Not all day every day, but all day on some days, and at least a good bit pretty much every day.
Been happening for a decade or so. You get used to it. We didn't get into this business for people to love us, though, so it's no big deal.
Because of cockfighting, right? Like, "You're in the pit to fight," right?
You've stumped me on this one.
