As a vol fan in Memphis I listen to your show everyday on my phone. I am extremely sad to hear you are leaving. Any plans to be a more frequent guest on Gary Parrish's show here in Memphis or any other shows?
i listen every day also ..going to be a bummer;;;;;(-
Where did you hear Wes was leaving radio, did he make a annoucement?
Here's his tweet from earlier:
@wesrucker247: Just announced on the show: Tomorrow will be my final day on #SwainAndRucker. I'll still be around, but not every day. I need to work less.

More time for family is a good thing. If Tennessee could keep a head coach a few years he would have more family time.
I planned to post about this on the board earlier, but my phone is still messing up some with the web site.
Nothing about me leaving radio hurts anything on this site. In fact, I'll be around more often now.
I'm 30 now. I'm a workaholic, but I can't just work all day, every day and not expect it to change things with family and friends. It can't just be about me all the time.

Wes I know it was tough but big ups for making a decision that benefits you and your family for a change
I'm sure Jamey will miss you!! just kidding, that guy drives me crazy, hopefully he will find something better to do with his time!
You can tell us Wes, the redhead said quit, right?
Not at all. Honestly.
I'm sure your radio fans will miss you, and I know it was tough to leave if you enjoyed it.
But good for you for picking your health. There is no sense in burning yourself out at age 30.
We are going to miss hearing you everyday. I guess I'll have to be on here even more.
It will be tough, but I'll probably have to too. Except that might also result in marriage counseling and I can't afford it.
This is what I was going to post but was sure someone else in the brotherhood already posted it...thanks Pastor.
Its not a stupid question until you ask it.
My next suggestion would be for you to stop arguing with idiots on twitter. Probably save you a lot of time and help you look a little more professional.
I agree. The wife says that I'm obsessed with this site.
Smart man, Wes. I was at least 45 before I said that. I was successful in business but not so much in my personal life so I made a change. That was just over 10 years ago and i've never been happier.
I'll still be on Gary's show and the shows in Nashville and other places. And will still join TSR a couple of times per week and guest-host for Swain and jump in with Swain. Just can't do it every day any more.
Maybe the wife should be on here, too.
+1. Very true.

Very glad you're doing this. First smart thing you've done since lassoing the redhead.
i have never listened to your show, but i'll miss you on radio.
