"Count it down with me. Five, four, three, two, one.
The national champion is clad in Big Orange!"
I think if we hold Mizzou to a low point total and beat them something like 40-10, beat KY like we used to, and somehow beat Vandy by 14 or more on the road (without them scoring 21 or more), Dooley could very well keep his job. Money is a factor in this whole deal. Also -- unless there is a reasonable expectation from direct interaction with a big name, can't miss coach, I don't think Hart makes a change. Whether you agree with firing Fulmer or not, I think all would agree that it was a mistake for Hamilton to fire Fulmer without a solid successor already lined up and ready to go (leading us with the great Satan [Kiffin] as the best candidate).
If this works who knows co-D cords might be in the cards. It takes time to get the change in and maybe seeing it from up top and having a calm sideline might be the ticket. I still believe you needs some fire on the sidelines and some in your face time to get them to understand this aint high school but it is the SEC. I really want CDD to make but in watching the videos after practice and media I just don't see the fire he had the past weeks and years at TN. Might be the fog of loosing his job, might be the reality of the hire he made IDK but I do know he is a different person with the media. One that I seem to respect a little more than the one that was selling out players, and cracking jokes when you are getting your tail beat. jmo
