I am the chef except for the bread pudding...the wifey is an expert with bread pudding.
We had a big brunch that consisted of pancake lasagna. Then snacked at the 30 places I had to go!
What is pancake lasagna?
About 12 big pancakes
2lbs sausage chopped finely after cooking
7 1/2 cups of cream
1/4 cup of flour
1/2 cup of butter
4 cups maple syrup
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese.
Melt butter in a big saucepan. Add flour to make a rue. Then add the cream and syrup and heat until thickened. Cook bacon and sausage. Scramble eggs and then add the eggs to a blender or food processor and add about 1/4 cup of cream. Mix until creamy. Layer pancakes on bottom(cut onto pieces to make them cover the bottom). Add some of the cream/syrup mixture. Layer the sausage. Add 1/2 of the egg mixture and sprinkle 1 cup of cheese on top. Add more pancakes and sauce. Then layer bacon. Add the rest of the eggs and cheese. Cook on 375 for 10-15 mins and u have pancake lasagna

And two large defibrillators.
I'm gonna have to test this one too, while I have a few days off... Thanks for the recipe!
I didn't eat it! I just cooked it! I did eat some of the extra bacon! But everyone that did eat it loved it! You will need a very deep lasagna pan. It feeds about 10-15 people at least.
I know I would love it, that's the problem. I have enough "favorite" meals already that are my downfall. If I gave this recipe to my wife I wouldn't be able to leave my house because I couldn't fit through the door.
