I'm over Chaney too. He abandons the run too quick and I'm tired of seeing low percentage deep passes on 3rd and short-medium situations. The run plays he does call are always pounding the middle. How about some off tackle stuff or use our rbs speed on tosses or sweeps.
Chavis got screwed too when lame kitten was brought in. I don't see him coming back.
Come and take them.
Lmao at him thumbing his nose at UT
Laugh all you want. He will never be back.
Wanna bet? He would have came last year If we had an opening for his coaching position
I'd take Phil back in a second. If not as head coach, as associate AD in charge of football. If you look at his career closely you'll see that his success began to wane when Dickey retired. Dickey was his mentor and sounding board. Dickey's retirement left a huge void. Maybe Phil would at least be the right person in the mentor role if not as HC.

Truer words have rarely been spoken.
This may not be what people want to hear but Philip started this mess with bad recruiting the last two years he was here and let's not forget that our play calling was obvious to everyone which also lead to two losing seasons not to mention a 5 win team that was a top 3 preseason team. Guys Phillip is not the answer.
I actually agree that he is not the answer but he may be a better bridge to the future at this point.
Why not Cut as HC with Chaney and a new DC?
Fulmer's kids are also out of the house now. He used to say that he hated spending time away from the house all the time because he missed his kids, but their gone now. So maybe he would come back with the same intensity that he had in the 1990's. My only concern with brininging him back is even in the 90's he under achieved with the talent that he had. Obviously at this point beggars can't be choosiers but I'd hate to see us return to that, because I'm fearful that Phil would never beat Saban. Just my 2 cents.
Best thing to come out of Alabama: I-59 North
Sounds good to me. I think maybe both sides have learned a lesson.
