Need a good forcast....
Coming up to Beavercreek next week to ski....
Looks like conditions will be better than last year as a good storm came thru last week and another one seems to be on its way Christmas day....
What say you?
Well, I haven't been yet (I usually get all of my skiing in after mid-Jan), but everyone seems to be saying it's already better than last year, which isn't saying a lot. I think they're gonna get some more snow at the end of this weekend, like you said. I'm sure it'll be fine. I think Beaver Creek is about half-open in terms of acreage, but probably 80% of what you'd normally want to ski is already available. It's always the weird stuff on the periphery of the mountain that stays closed until later.
What day are you coming out?

If I may interject (I live in Denver Metro as well), I was just in Vail and people were raving. Of course, they were comparing it to the nightmare that was last year, but still.
I think you're going to be very good to go anytime in the next month.
29th - Jan 5th.
We come out Christmas and Spring Break to Telluride. Last year I had new skis and beat them up Christmas at Steamboat!
Crockett- we'll ski a couple days at Vail. Back bowls at Vail are my favorite in Summitt county. Still prefer Telluride overall!
