HC -- Butch Davis
DC - Strong
Honestly? Id be happy keeping Chaney. I know, Crockett just said that. And while I do think that he has some improving to do, he showed me a lot in the 2nd half of the season.
And the defensive staff would be 100% turnover I'd imagine. No clue who he'd want as a DC.
Whoa. Can't believe what I just read.

To go 4 OT's against Mizzou and not run 1 running play in OT is dispicable... He's a Big10 pass 1st guy at heart and it won't change. We need an overhaul.
Just pray that if Strong comes Bedford comes with as his DC. We will not have DB problems anymore...the guy has a VERY impressive resume. Some Tennessee fans might take shots at him because he was Woodson's DB coach at Michigan.
I agree. I want us to get Derrick Green and watch him absolutely pound it down other teams' throats for 3 or 4 years. I want to play big boy football again.

HC - Charlie Strong
OC/Asst HC - Jim Chaney
DC - Ellis Johnson (with help from Strong)
Oline - Sam Pittman
RB - Jay Graham
QB/Asst OC - Tee Martin
WR - Darin Hinshaw
I'm kinda on the fence about the defensive side of the ball. Sunseri has to go, for sure, but what about Palermo, Ansley and Conklin? Were they really THAT bad at coaching, or was it the scheme Sunseri/Dooley were running? At times, the defensive line played decently enough, and most of the defensive backfield has been on record as saying they liked having separate coaches for CB and safety...and both Conklin and Ansley seem to be good recruiters. Just my two cents.
Not me...if he can coach, he can start today.
I get this...but do we know exactly how much influence Doolander had on the game plan/play-calling? Seems to me that he had a fairly tight stranglehold on whatever went on in the offensive meeting room. Of course, I could be wrong...my wife tells me that I am all the time.
I would think he'd bring Shawn Watson with him as OC/qb coach.

Watson is the current OC/QB at Louisville.
My bad....for whatever reason I was thinking about Joker and not Strong. *SMH*
I am all for Strong but I'd rather keep Chaney than bring Watson. I saw his Nebraska teams numerous times when he was there and that offense was the most goofy, dysfunctional unit that actually scored I have ever seen. He had Zach Lee running when he's slower than Bray, rollouts and double play fakes and all sorts of other janky stuff. Bleh.
So yeah...I like Strong but I want no part of that OC unless he's learned how to use his personnel in the last few years.
Someone check the temp in hell.
Cale Gundy rb's
Tee Martin QB
Darrell Wyatt WR used to coach at OSU and Ou at Texas now A+++++ recruiter
Joe Wickline OL best in all of college football end of story
Rob Glass S&C he is really really good.
I am sure some coaches will stay put but Manny Diaz may be available from Texas as DC. There is an outside chance Major Applewhite would come as QB coach and OC.
The two best professional rookies in 2010 and both from Oklahoma City,Oklahoma.
Who are you?? I am floored!
I hope you're recovering by now...
I believe Crockett has been hacked! Had to give him a +1 for that one!
"Old School"! A strong defense wins championships!
